Claims / Returns

Claim / Return Policy:

Accommodation returns of any Shaw product will not be authorized beyond 90 days from date of shipment (invoice date). Please note that all accommodation returns will be assessed a restocking fee.  Please see the policy below for details.

Restocking Fees:

General Guidelines
  • Restocking fees and freight on accommodation returns will be subtracted from credit memos issued on return goods.  No offsetting or additional credits intended to offset the restocking charges will be permitted.
  • Shaw will not support or endorse consignment of products.
Carpet / Pad
  • All carpet rolls and cuts that are approved for return as an accommodation will be charged a restocking fee of 15% of the invoice plus freight both ways. 
  • Carpet Tile in excess of 100 square yards or 20 unopened boxes, in salable condition, that are approved for return as an accommodation will be charged a restocking fee of 15% (or minimum of $50) plus freight both ways.
  • All carpet pad rolls that are authorized for return as an accommodation will be charged a restocking fee of 15% of the invoiced amount plus freight both ways.
Hard Surface / Sundries
  • Any Hard Surface return as an accommodation must be at least 100 square feet or larger, in salable condition, and in unopened, same dye lot boxes.  Hard Surface returns will be charged a restocking fee of 15% (or minimum of $100) plus freight both ways. 
  • There will be no returns of sundries (grout, trim pieces, thin set, etc.).
Rugs / Promotional Goods / Non-Standard Products
  • Custom area rugs will not be authorized for a return as an accommodation.
  • Promotional Goods products will not be authorized for a return as an accommodation.
  • Non standard (custom) products will not be authorized for return.
Refusals
  • The above restocking and freight charges will also apply to all refused shipments.
